Genius Ginny IQ Ninny

While counting the number of accidental pigeon poop droppings on my head, a heavyset woman snuck up behind me. She bopped me on my beak and introduced herself. “They call me GENIUS GINNY, because I know the answer to every question that I ask myself.”

Well, right off, I was more than impressed let me tell you. I didn't know the answer to even one question that I asked myself.

“They call me Dum Dum Dodo and I'm looking for people to help me save the world,” I declared.

“You're going to need lots of help because no one can do it alone. You could probably use me because I'm absolutely brilliant. I know more than anyone else in the whole world on all the things that I already know,” she shot back.

“Do you ever answer other people's questions?” I asked her.

She said, “Oh no, never. Why should I? I'm a genius. What if someone asks me a math question or something that I don't know the answer to?”

“Well, what's wrong with that?” I questioned.

“Then I wouldn't be a genius anymore now would I? That would be pretty stupid of me, don't you think?”

Wow-wee! She sure was making lots of sense. I was learning a bunch of stuff from her.

“But what if someone asked you a math question that you knew the answer to? Wouldn't you still be a genius cuz you got it right?” I asked.

“Of course not,” she said. “That would make me a mathematician and not a genius. It's pretty simple logic. But only geniuses can understand it and appreciate its absolute brilliance.” Boy, was she right or was she not wrong?

“So now you see why I only ask myself questions that I know the answers to.”

She certainly was a genius and also lots of fun. I didn't have to think or say a word. She knew everything. My problem was that I didn't have enough questions to ask myself. So how could I answer them? That's why I decided to listen and learn from her.

Then genius Ginny asserted, “I know you're not as smart as I am. You're a Dodo and Dodos are pretty dumb. I'm famous for my genius and you're famous for your stupidity. We're both famous in our own special way. Overall, we have a lot in common. I have all the answers and you have none. We'd make a great team. Between the two of us, we know everything and nothing all at the same time!”
