Truthful Trudy used to be a compulsive liar who one day looked into the eyes of a ladybug and found God. From that day on, there radiated a saintly quality about her, and she gained an insight into the future. She was given the gift of seeing people for who they were and who they were going to be.
She was a middle-aged hippy-looking woman who appeared to be walking on a cloud. With an all-seeing eye she said, “Dum Dum Dodo, you're a rare birdbrain. You are humanity's guiding light—the one who is here to elevate us all. There is so much wisdom in your stupidity, and yet there's even more stupidity in your wisdom. People can learn so much from you,” she assuredly smiled. “But first there are many lessons you must learn from their irrational emotional states of being, before you can be their savior.”
Wow-wee, I hoped she was right on or even more than right on! I asked excitedly, “Am I really going to save the world? When and how am I going to do that?”
She continued, “You must look deeply into their essence and the truth will unfold itself to you.”
“I don't understand Miss Truthful. What do you mean by essence?” Puzzled with bewilderment, I scratched my beak.
“Be in that enlightened moment of truth where all species are one,” she softly spoke.
Confused I asked, “How will I recognize that moment of truth?”
“You will know, dearest Dum Dum. You will know. The ultimate truth is written in the light of the all-knowing that shines from only the purest of hearts. And yours shines with the brightness of the celestial sun—the giver of love and life itself.”
Well, I was so inspired that I dropped to the ground and started looking for a ladybug. To my surprise a ladybug landed on my beak, looked me in my eyes and said, “Although Dodos cannot fly—you will lift their spirits beyond the heavenly sky.”
